Default Satcom Pirates active channels

Satcom pirates monitored today on the following frequencies -

253.500
253.740
255.450
255.560
256.600
257.040
257.060
257.160
261.675
261.750
265.450
267.050
268.440

These guys apparently have no fear of using our satellites since they are in another country.

I just heard on 267.000 "2-1 is alpha Cleveland, 2-2 is alpha Cleveland"? it was very brief.. what was that?

Sounds like legit milcomms, but I am not sure of 267.000 or do you mean 267.050?

There's also terrestrial military aviation traffic in the same band (mostly, but not exclusively, in AM mode).

While scanning the mil band, I've caught legit mil coms in the Cleveland area before (sometime last year).
I usually search in NFM mode, stop on any noise, and swap mods to verify traffic.

I heard aerial refueling the one night for quite some time.
Also, on my way home from work one day, I saw a black hawk helo to the west of 71, real low.
I hurried home, scanned the band and actually picked up a brief convo (AM mod).
