Default 255.550 SSTV

For those who can pick up UFO F7, someone has been sending SSTV pics all day. They send the same picture for a while then start sending a different one. They're using Robot 36 and the pictures are very poor quality. Actual frequency is around 255.560 MHz (within the transponder bandwidth). FM signal about 5 kHz wide. Any of the analog SSTV decoders should display the picture. DM780 and Multipsk work well.

I noticed that and it looks like the same baby photo over and over.

I don't have my X-Wing antenna hooked up but it was strong enough on an ST2
Using SDRSharp and MMSSTV

That's happened a few times over the last few weeks on several frequencies.

I noticed that Rick_bh in Brazil posted a youtube video of the same SSTV photo back on 12/27/13.

He was receiving it on 252.150 MHz.

The sender is using several pictures, just sending them over and over. Curious as to why they are transmitting them constantly. I guess they have nothing better to do.

Yeah, I was hearing slowscan a couple weeks ago through the GT London West node around that same frequency. Even got a "recording" of it through WGET. Thanks for mentioning which system they use; might try running it through MMSSTV later tonight (or tomorrow) and see what I come up with.

It is 10:22 UTC and there is some sort of narrow band data stream with ANDVT underneath that. Completely obliterating anything else on the transponder.

Its 04:35 Am Pacific
Near Lake Tahoe Nevada
Jan 20 2014

255.5500 MHz is Xmiting Encrypted Transmissions about every 5 to 8 seconds?
Signal is extremely strong here near Lake tahoe NV.
Now transmissions have stopped, just pulsing like LTR Standard (Harmonics? from UHF LTR?)
Didnt hear any SSTV transmission, may have missed it though unless there is more than 1 Sat on 255.5500 MHz.
Im 99% sure im am picking up Conus & Pacific Sats, any other orbits of other Sats i may not be able to hear.
Its 04:40 Am Pacific and the Encrypted transmissions came back for about 30 seconds.
Im going to go back to searching NBFM 240 Mhz to 300 MHz and see what pops up.

FYI
Brazilian Pirates using 262.4200 MHz,263.9300 MHz & 269.9500 MHz @ 04:50 Am Pacific and very strong signals.
As usual 250.3500 MHz,250.4500 MHz & 250.5500 MHz are transmitting.
Full Duplex Phone 266.8650 MHz (Russian) is active 05:05 Am Pacific..
