I ran across this link https://amsat-uk.org/2016/03/03/school-sstv-cubesat-to-deploy-from-iss/. Interesting story about Virginia school children building a cube satellite that will do sstv and is scheduled for deployment tomorrow. Can't wait to decode the signal.

It was deployed from the ISS earlier today, along with other CubeSats. As of 2000 UTC, nobody has reported hearing anything from this one. CubeSats usually have a timer that keeps them from transmitting for at least 45 minutes after deployment, but that passed a few hours ago.

Good luck!

according to their twitter feed https://twitter.com/STMSAT11?lang=en they are going for a reboot tonight at midnight edt.

Unfortunately, still nothing from STMSAT-1. I know many still hold out hope, but it seems like the chances of it waking up and transmitting diminish as time passes. This is, unfortunately, not unusual for CubeSats launched by all sorts of groups. It happens. It doesn't mean all the hard work the students put into this project was a bad thing. They still learned about space, even if the satellite never transmits.

73!
