Default 260.725 down / 294.325 uplink - SKULL-42

260.725 down / 294.325 uplink - SKULL-42 clg RED RIVER on "CONR-2" in the clear. B-52G tail number 60-0042 93rd BS, 307th BW, Barksdale AFB. I caught this aircraft calling in the clear on the Satcom uplink.

QTH: South Central Texas. RED RIVER is the Barksdale AFB command post

Units then went into VINSON encrypted voice

Nice catch! With the uplink and downlin freq you should be able to determine which satellite was used.

That would be Fleetsat channel 60 on the channel authorization list. Not sure which slot but if I had to take my guess this was UFO-F7 which if I'm not mistaken replaced the aging Fleetsat-F7 orbital slot.

There is a brief one, on this page. Look for the KY-57 entry.
