BCTool Connect

I was trying out BCTool and noticed that every time I open the program it wants to connect to the internet, if I don't allow it to do so it will stop responding when trying to open a saved file. But will load that file if I allow it to connect. Is this normal and why would it need to connect?

Sounds wierd - I'd check into the BcTool Yahoo group and ask Rob - who is there quite frequently to answer questions
