Default Just got my 396T today, easiest software?

I finally got this radio scanning, but im using the Uniden software, whats the easiest to use?

Bill this page will be helpful to bookmark - even though you're using software, it's important to understand all the new options and other things the 396 can do. The Uniden manual isn't very good, frankly.

Best answer is-whatever is easiest for you to use. Lots of choices out there-ARC from Butel, Scancat from Computer Aided Technologies, Signel intelligence, Freescan, UASD from Uniden etc-lots of choices. Best thing to do I think is to look at the demos for all of these or get the free software and decide for yourself. Lots of help here in these forums no matter what you finally get.

My thoughts... Arc software is the easiest to understand, and program.
