Default Win96 programming question

Okay, here's the deal (and I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but a search didn't turn up anything)...

I'm still quite new to the Pro-96 scanner and the Win96 software. I've pretty much have the basics down, but am having a wee bit of a problem when it comes to trunked systems, but more specifically tgid's.

Using the import from RR function, how do I set the settings on a trunked system to show both tgid and tg description, if it can be done that is?

I've been able to get either the tgid to show or the description, but not both at the same time.

Any help / info / comments / suggestions y'all can throw my way will be greatly appreciated. Many thanks is advance.

The PRO-96 can't display both at the same time - it's one or the other.

Thanks for the speedy reply Don. I appreciate the info.

I guess I'll keep it set to show the description.

What some people have done, is include the TGID in the Alpha Tag they set up. Now the problem with that is the Pro-96/2096 (indeed most of the RS scanners) only have a 12 character field, so this requires a lot of inventive abbreviating.
