I've been fooling around with FreeScan with my 396 over the last week or so. I gradually came to realize that there were functions there that were rather unclear, and needed further explanation. Unfortunately without constantly perstering Assaf it didn't seem like there was much....
so I decided to create a user guide, which you can find here...
http://wiki.radioreference.com/index...can_User_Guide
Right now it's just a list of topics (I think I got all the major ones - if I missed one, please add it) - to create a new article, enclose the name in [[ ]], such as:
[[EZ-Grab]] and add it to the skeleton
If you've never logged into the wiki to edit an article, you will need your RadioReference userid and password. If your userid and password doesn't seem to work, please contact Lindsay Blanton - neither I nor Bezking have access to the password servers.
If you've never edited a wiki article, it's highly suggested that you read the wiki user's guide before proceeding...

As in the forums, anything underlined and/or in blue is a link
Please keep to one topic per article. These articles should be written in as consise manner as possible; the devil is in the details! Remember we could be read by someone who just got a 396 and knows next to nothing about scanners and DMA stuff. Keep it as detailed and simple as you can.
Don't be afraid to link other articles from both our wiki and other sites into this article. The more detail we can provide to a newcomer, the better
