Default Trouble getting constant tones

Hello everyone,

So I purchased a copy of CommTek 2-tone decoder to decode some of the local fire/ems tones in preparation for a BCD396T.

The problem is, I am not getting a constant series of tones for the same department.
My local EMS provider is supposed to have the same tones for each call, and I'm getting a series of tones that happens to be off by quite a few MHZ each time.
The current tones are the following:
25/11/2008 -- 6:22:13 AM -- 21429 -- 5300.2 -- 6:22:14 AM -- 5312 -- 6789.5
25/11/2008 -- 6:29:22 AM -- 21436 -- 5299.7 -- 6:29:23 AM -- 5312.1 -- 6791.5
25/11/2008 -- 7:08:02 AM -- 21428 -- 5360.2 -- 7:08:03 AM -- 5308.5 -- 6784.5
25/11/2008 -- 9:46:03 AM -- 21430 -- 5364 -- 9:46:04 AM -- 5312.7 -- 6791.5

So what do i go with, what am i doing wrong?

Default

As long as they are within 10% of their value it should work just like PLs have an allowance tolerance. It doesn't have to be right on in order to work.

Try like 524.8Hz and 691.8Hz or a known actual tone freq that is close to the results you're getting.
