Question ARC 300 software question

When I retrieve the frequencies for my county with this software, some of the frequencies show CTCSS in the mode column some say FM and some are blank in the mode column. should I leave, the CTCSS,and FM that is already there and pick fm for the rest of the frequencies with the blank box in the mode column? I know some of the frequencies which show up with CTCSS, are also in the FM band. sorry, this pc programming is new to me. Thanks!

If you want to use the 'subtone' the mode must be set to CTCSS, if you set it to FM or leave it blank the subtone is ignored.

in the database you can see if a subtone is used, since you use the webservice the ARc300 software will automatically program the correct subtones and related settings of the selected system.
