Welcome to the forum. I hope Larry's problem is solved. You've 'hijacked his thread if his problem is not resolved.
However, being your first post, we can try to help you also.
In Win500, click the Tab TSYS Objects. The database indicates Project 25 as type system so:
1. right click in dark gray area and select insert item.
2. click in (default) Mot 800/900 under Type column and select P25 Auto as type.
3. in upper right, click System Frequencies button.
4. from database page, select nearby towers and type in red and blue frequencies then click OK button at top right of frequency dialog.
5. at top, click Edit menu and select new item at end (this places a Talkgroup Object called Wildcard) and is defaulted to Scanlist 1.
You can save the file at this time (File>Save and give it a name). Then send the file to your scanner and start scanning.
Or
at step 5, replace the word Wildcard by clicking into and replace wildcard with a dec ID number found in the database. If you do this, you can add a second ID by righ click on the first Talkkgroup Object line and reselecting New Item at End. (this process can be repeted until all desired Talkgroup objects are programmed.
