Default BC296D and APCO-25

Hey all. I don't think I am doing this right.

I am using Scan Control to program all my Uniden scanners. For my BC296D I am trying to program in an APCO-25 system. I know it is compatible but I can't figure out how to enter it.

In the "Bank: Type:" drop down menu I have the typical options for: conv, T1, T2-800, T2-900, ED-WID, etc. I have no option for APCO-25 (Project 25).
I am trying to program the "New York State Electric & Gas (NYSEG)" group.

I have to add, I am trying to build a file without the scanner hooked up. I am using a Vista computer to do this and I will later move the file to my "programming" computer.

I do have the BCi96D card installed in my scanner. What "Bank: Type" do I choose?

Thanks!

Since you're using Scan Control, the logical place to answer this is here;

Sure, I am a member over there, but since this is the software section, and I like this site, I thought I'd try here.

If your system is New York State Electric & Gas (NYSEG), I don't think the scanner will trunk VHF or UHF P25 systems. If the system frequencies are 800 MHz, then set type to T2 800.
