Will the serial cable I use for my Pro-96 work on the Pro-106?

No.

I just went thru this myself.
You need the USB cable.

I probably should clarify. I use Win96 and Pro96com for my Pro-96. Serial cable is fine.

I bought Win500 for my 106. It would not work with the serial cable. Had to get the USB.

If you are using different software you might get different results.

I am using my serial cable that came with my Pro 96 on my Pro 106 in Pro96Com with no problems. I had not tried IDtrackerII. I don't see an option in Win500 to use a serial cable only USB.
