Win500 captures the selected "audio input" and streams it to the Win500 Remote Client app. If you have a "microphone" also enabled on the PC where Win500 is running, it's possible you'll capture that audio, as well.

In Windows' "audio properties" (e.g. right-click on the audio control icon in the system tray, by the clock), you may want to disable the "microphone" input in "recording properties".

It's not just "possible", it's true.

Recently, when I was testing the Remote Server functionality of Win500, a friend of mine was using the client to listen to one of my PSR-600's remotely. He called me on the phone at one point because he wondered why he was hearing my TV audio and other sounds in the background. When my phone rang, he heard that too! We quickly found that the built in mic in my laptop was enabled - passing all the room audio along in the stream.

As Don advises above, make sure you disable the microphone input on your PC.
