Didn't work Pappy. I'm using Vista 64bit if that makes any difference. I installed the files into the 32bit section.

Since you didn't mention it, I will ask. Did you check the Starrsoft page for Win500 for any guidance on Vista, or contact Don directly with your query? I would start there.

Did you make a new folder in the 32 bit and useing winzip extract the files there and from that folder open winXX.exe. do not try to install them.

There are no Vista issues. Unzip the files, run it. Nothing more, nothing less...

I did that Pappy. I went ahead and bought ARC500. Now I can't get the software to program my information into main memory. Not sure which steps to take to get the radio to accept the information. It says it did but nothing in scanner. I believe I am in one of the V-Scanner folders.

I just put it on my daughters Vista64 and it opened and ran just fine. It must be how you have your computer configeated that is stopping it from opening. Your virus software could be blocking it.

Edit: I am useing Win500 program.
