Alright! I need to shut down V2.1.0 which has been running for about 36 hours non-stop with my 396.
Looking forward to the changes. Thanks for the continued support!

Unless I am missing it, does the main screen document the CT tone? I am searching a freq for a tone but it only shows the freq name? If not can this be added to the list?

You must enable the "Track Squelch" option in the conventional system.

I have used IDTracker in the past with my 780XLT and loved it. Yesterday I bought a Pro-106 but it does not seem to work. It may be a problem with my cable but just want to be sure.
When I try starting the program I use Settings, GRE Scanner, Reload GRE Image. When I go to click on track the radio will go into clone move and reach about 40% before I get an invalid image file. The file will continue downloading and then everything is fine and the radio reboots after telling me to check the CCCOMS and DSPcoms and both are off.
Under image size it claims that received is 0.
David I know this is not "standard" but you are a Ham and may understand. I am trying to use my TTL to serial adapter (better known as ICOM Pgm. cable) with this PRO-106. The R/S Adapter is a standard Icom CI-V cable you would think that a standard Icom CI-V cable can work with the scanner. Any ideas ?

It does look like there is a problem with downloading the scanner image. I do not have my scanner with me now but I should be a to check later tonight. If I remember correctly, the GRE adapter uses a 3 conductor cable (stereo plug, separate TX and RX lines) while CI-V uses a 2 conductor cable (mono plug, shared TX and RX lines). If you are using a 2 conductor and the GRE requires a 3 conductor then this would cause problems. Basically, all computer commands would be echoed back to the computer. This may be why you get the CCOMS and DSPcoms message.

The ICOM cable is a 3 conductor but I belive that it does not support full duplex communications and that is the problem. After spending all of Christmas fiddling I tossed the towel. I walked into RS and bought the adapter today, before I left the parking lot I re-subsribed to RR using my air card and drove away with a fully programmed scanner. I live out in the sticks and RS is right next to one of my tower sites so I downloaded everything with a fast strong EVDO connection.
I am still "working" in my truck but when I get home I'll have to try IDTracker II on my personal PC.
KAWA in China makes a ton of cables, they are only $5 each plus a few bucks in shipping on e-bay. I'll have to order one of the USB ones and see of those are full duplex and if so I'll let everyone know and have a spare to keep in the truck. I know they work with the D-Star so I am guessing they are full duplex and MUCH cheaper than R/S. I am just sorry I let the last one I had go with my ID-800 when I decided to get out of D-Star.

Under PGM, FNCn then GLOB, make sure CCDump and DSPDump are set to No and try it again. We had an issue that this caused the program.

Yes both have been set to NO from the start. I did see that mentioned on the web site when I downloaded the latest version.

Try to hit PGM then TSYS then try to reload the image while being in the TSYS screen.

I figured out the problem the other day.
On the Pro-106 apparently TG Info does not come out the PC port unless you are scanning. SO even though I had a wildcard entry and sat on that single wildcard it would not work even though it displayed properly.
I ended up setting up a scan list by DUPE'ing the TGS info into it's own scan list and then entering the wildcard and only the wildcard. Now I can go in scan mode but sit on only the wildcard and the scanner outputs the data to the PC port. IDTrackerII is happy.

Hello, I am currently using the ID TRACKER II version 2.1.1 and I am really enjoying it. I must admit, it does what it does very well. I enjoy everything that it currently has to offer. I am running it along side my Pro-106 scanner and I just thought I would chime in on this subject. Take care, Kevin.

I want to say Thanks as well. I got my Pro-197 just after Christmas and haven't found a decent recorder for it till now. It took me awhile to figure it all out, but it was well worth my time.

hey, can anyone help me figure out why I cannot get TrunkTracker II version 2.1.1 log frequency 151.1300. This is strange and most likely a stupid error on my part but I cannot figure it out. I'm using scanner Pro-106 programmed with PSRedit500 its a conventional frequency so should be idiot proof. I have read the help file for TT and everything is set correct as far as I can tell.
In trunktracker I have all 3 places for logging set and "all" selected in the system but when it stops on that frequency it logs nothing but other are working fine, Strange thing is I compared it other frequency in that same list that is logging correctly and they are set up the same as far as all the setting go in both PSRedit500 and TrunkTrackerII. All was working fine until a reformatted and installed a newer versions of both trunktracker and PSRedit500 previously did not have a issue...any ideas? Also it show correct in the Active frequency dispaly on trunktracker. Thanks

Did you try reloading the GRE image in ID Tracker? Go to settings and check the box.

Does recording work OK? Also, if you could email me your PSR500.bin file in the ID Tracker II data folder, I will take a look at the problem. Email is my callsign @bellsouth.net.
