IDTracker II Wildcard Monitoring ?

I have IDTrackerII working with my Pro-106 but I am trying to capture any new ID's. I have set up a wildcard entry in a scan list that only includes that entry. Makes it easy to get to...

When scanning normally IDTracker lists all TGID's on it's display but when I have it set up sitting on a single channel set to wildcard it does not display anything. I see the TGID's on the radio display and I decode the signals hearing comms but IDTracker sees nothing.

Anything special that I need to do? Doing wildcard monitoring after all is what IDTracker was initially written to do so I am sure it's just something I am doing wrong. I am trying to monitor a system that is close by and I have heard very little traffic on, not sure if it's the system , if I just don't have the right TGID's entered, or if it's just a very lightly used system.

Did you reload the scanner image after programming your scanner? ID Tracker II is unable to properly decode the GRE scanner objects without an up to date image. I scan wildcards most of the time looking for new IDs. This was ID Tracker's primary reason for being developed.

Operator/New Equipment error...

What I found out was that even though wildcard monitoring on the Pro-106 works while sitting in manual mode it apparently does not output the information unless it is scanning. I was reading the manual where it covered wildcards and it stated that auto saving of the new TG's will not happen unless the unit was scanning. Not that it had anything to do with adam but I gave it a shot.

I pgm'd a new scan list with the trunk system and only a single TG using WILDCARD and lo and behold IDTrackerII started working. Essentially I am in manual mode since I only have one TG in there and it's a wildcard but it fools the scanner and I am happy. Waste of a scan list but that's OK, I don't use them all.
