MDT Decoding

In regards to the MDT system I've found and asked about here: http://www.radioreference.com/forums...d.php?t=129133

I don't know what type of system that it is.

So has anybody sucessfully decoded MDT signals? I found a program that is called "Taxi MDT Decoder" http://sourceforge.net/projects/taxidecoder but cannot make heads or tails as to how to use it.

Anybody done this?

Yes. That program would have to rate as the most poorly documented program in the history of computing.

From reading some of the files, it requires SoundCard input. And as it is based on Tronquito, you might get away with Speaker audio, and not require a Discriminator Tap.

And it appears that it requires Java Swing, whatever that is.
