Default Win500 Recording Issue

I'm evaluating Win500 for use with my Pro-106. Everything has been fantastic except for when I record audio. I have currently set the software to record only one CONV frequency. I have set my scanner to only scan this CONV frequency. The software records, however, the first couple seconds are missing from the recording.

Is there a defined delay before Win500 records once the squelch is open on a 'recordable' frequency? If not, is there something I can do to mitigate the impact? My recording is being done on a fast PC....I've tested the audio streaming from multiple PCs and there is no perceivable delay, so I don't think I'm dealing with a resource issue.

TIA,
lionvoice
