Default PSREdit for a dummy!!!!!!

I have a bcd396t and can use all sorts of software to program it, (ARC396, bctool, Freescan, etc) no problem.
I just bought a new psr 600 and tried PSREdit but I cant pick up anything.
What am I doing wrong.
I am trying to get Bell Fleetnet - Ontario Provincial Government Zone 2.
If I thought it would be this hard I would have waited for the release of the new 396xt, but I have heard so many good things about the psr 600.
HELP??????

Since you're a premium subscriber to this site, my suggestion would be to use the Radio Reference import feature (Import->Radio Reference Web Service->Trunked Systems) to import the system into your configuration. I'll be happy to help out any way I can.

Mike

Make sure you have the talk groups assigned to a scanlist and that the selected scanlist is turned on.

This is a good topic for a wiki article or two. There is a precedent - we have Freescan's user manual there, and I know of more than a few programming tools (Notepad ++ for one) that also has their user manuals on a wiki

I agree.
Just make sure their is enough distance between the scanner and the desktop.
I had no problem with Freescan and my 396t, but then again it was a handheld.
With a "base" unit, watch where you locate it.
