Default Win500 Available on CD?

I posted this earlier, but may have done so on the wrong forum.
=============================================
Is Win500 Available on CD? I periodically having to "re-download" the program to launch it. Also, is there a "users manual" available or download-able somewhere? I'm slow in figuring out how to use this fine product, and don't want to walk away from it due to my technical ineptness. Thanks!

As far as I know there is no WIN500 on CD (but I maybe wrong)
You could take the .exe file and burn it to a CD.
Win500: PSR-500, PSR-600, PRO-106, PRO-197 Scanner Software for Data Management, Monitoring, and Control

And as far as I know there is no users manual.
Any problems try and ask on this forum, or direct to DonStar who is great with getting back to customers replys

Thanks torontokris. I've been digging and now feel way overwhelmed. The technical knowledge and terminology is way over my head - and I went to college. But, I'm learning lots, so I'll keep plugging away.

At this point you can only download it. I have it and win 95,96,97 and they all work great. well worth the cost.

Like mentioned already, you could burn the information to CD [what you download from Starrsoft] along with a text file containing your registration information.

Another option - if you dont want to go through learning all the CD burning stuff [although it isn't too difficult now] would be go to buy a USB flash drive (they are extremely cheap now - and even the smallest USB flash drives [thumb drives they are also called] are large enough to hold all of the Win500 stuff and more. All you have to do is plug it into one of your USB ports, its gets recognized, follow the directions when they pop up if it needs formatted. then copy the data over.

Then just pull out the thumb drive and tuck it in a safe place. When you get other software you want to retain for a long period, get the ole thumb drive back out and copy some more over onto it.

That's an excellent suggestion! I do that with all my radio software. As mtindor suggested, be sure to create a little text file with your registration information, keys, etc. This totally eliminates the on-going issues that you read about when your hard drive crashes, or you buy a new computer, etc.
