Psr-295

Hi all first time poster here so please be gentle, I have just got a PSR-295 in the UK. I am trying to get hold of the USB lead in the UK and also any software that will connect my PC with the Scanner. Any other tips would also be greatly appreciated. I have to say that this is my second scanner this week as I had a Alinco DJ-X3 for 1 day before taking it back for the GRE, this being a much easier scanner to use.

I too am looking for the software to programme the 295. I have contacted GRE and am awaiting a reply from them as to wether there is a software available or in the pipeline. I will let you know hen I get this.

GRE have given me the basic software for programming which I would be happy to pass on to you via email. Also PSREdit 100 will perform the same operation. However the lead which is required the 'GRE 30-3290 USB programming cable' is a different story. They don't ship overseas and I can't find anyone in the UK to supply it, and have yet to see any on Ebay etc where they will ship to UK.
I am pursuing GRE on the matter but am not yet hopeful that they will relent and change their shipping and after sales service just for me. We'll see.
