I have purchased a BCT8 scanner and have subscribed to RR. I am having trouble figuring out how to program my scanner via RR. Should I be able to download the frequencies and if so, how can I do that?Any help would sure be appreciated.

Hi, and welcome to RR. You will need programing software that can import from the Radio Reference database. ARC8 from Butel Software is one that would work for this. there are other programs available, but i am not sure if they would import directly from the D.B.

Note that, at least according to the BuTel website, you would need version 2 of ARC8 to enable downloads from RR. If you buy from Scanner Master, it would be prudent to specify this 73 Mike
