FreeScan TGID AFS Format?

I'm preparing programming for a new BCD396XT. I used the FreeScan version 8b to download from the RR database the Manatee County, Florida EDACS system without problem except that I can't seem to get the program to show the TGIDs in AFS format. It appears that the program default is to show the TGIDs in HEX format so I went into the "Trunked System Setup" and manually changed the format to AFS but, the import file still shows the TGIDs in HEX format. I saved the file and then re-opened it to see if maybe that would update the change to AFS but, no such luck. What am I missing? I am assuming that there is some way for me to have the program display TGIDs in AFS format.

Hi there. I am in the same boat, so to speak. I, too, am expecting a new 396xt, (tomorrow 4/27), and have been experimenting with freescan in preparation. I had the same question and was told that when loaded in scanner data will be in AFS format. I'll let you know tomorrow if it works. John P.S. I'm using version 8e.
