Scancat Lite Plus is not set up to access the web service. You could use Excel as an intermediate, and we have a process for that
documented in our wiki, but why bother? That software is horrible; there have been many threads devoted to the subject.
I'd suggest doing a couple of things first;
a. Add your city/state to your profile. Go up to the very top and click on 'account'. That way folks local to you can make suggestions as to how to proceed. Be aware that we have forums devoted to each state - so if you have questions about programming for your state, that's where you're most likely to find the help you need
b. To use the web service you must first purchase a premium subscription. At the blue toolbar under the logo, look at the far right for
ABOUT Float your mouse over it and click on the topic.
c. Next you will need software that is compatible with your scanner (you didn't say what scanner you were trying to program). Hopefully you're not using one of the very few for which Scancat is the only solution. 99 times out of 100, there are many better alternatives. Our wiki has a list cross referencing models of scanners with software, and many are web service aware. Again at the blue toolbar, float your mouse over
WIKI and select Software. Click on the Popular Software for RS/Uniden scanners (for RS or Uniden models) or Popular Software for GRE scanners titles to see a listing
