Default Extended Frequencies

FDNY Citywide - 482.23125 PL- 85.4
FDNY Brooklyn - 482.01875 PL- 69.3
FDNY Bronx - 482.00625 PL- 67.0
FDNY Manhattan - 482.10625 PL- 74.4
FDNY Queens - 482.03125 PL- 71.9


How do I get the software to accept frequencies as above ? When I enter them it rounds them off. As below :

FDNY CW 482.237500 FM CTCSS 85.4 0
FDNY BN 482.025000 FM CTCSS 69.3 0
FDNY BX 482.012500 FM CTCSS 67.0 0
FDNY MN 482.112500 FM CTCSS 74.4 0
FDNY QN 482.037500 FM CTCSS 71.9 0
FDNY SI 482.050000 FM CTCSS 77.0 0

Have you tried all the step size choices?

With Pro-Scan I get it to accept as 482.2313, close ehough I am sure. It does the same thing with 5, or 6.25 step size.

Just for laughs, I tried them on my Pro-163 and it took them no problem, no rounding off. Just curious, what specificaly are they used for in the FD? Normal ops? Are they abandoning the VHF stuff or what?
