There's a really good tutorial here:

Thank you, smason, for recommending my tutorial. I wrote it hoping it would provide an easy to understand approach to using Don's excellent software.

Welcome to RR.com, ROYRKHANNA. You will find members here are ready, willing, and very able to answer your questions. I think the tutorial I wrote will help you in using WIN500, but I must warn you, you will NOT be able to import any systems, TGs, or conventional frequencies using the Import Utility inside the software WITHOUT a Premium Subscription. The Premium Subscription is not necessary if you plan to use the software to program individual TGs or conventional frequencies, but you will find that to be very tedious if the system(s) is large. I wholeheartedly recommend a Premium Subscription for this very reason.

Also, I urge you to return to your User CP (the left side of the second blue bar from the top of any page if you are logged in) and edit your profile to include your location (city and state) as you were requested to do in the material e-mailed to you when you registered. Once you fill in your location it will automatically show in each of your posts. Many of the questions you will have, and their answers, are going to be location specific and without having your location showing you will be asked over and over again what it is. So fill it in now and be done with it.
