It does if your scanner does. See the list of supported scanners on the web site.

Dave, thanks for the update.
One note, I set up the new version with my BCT15 and the program doesn't initialize the radio when the Setup is set to "Trunktracker III"... it only works when its set to Trunktracker IV.

Although it says TrunkTracker III on the scanner, the BCT15 uses the TrunkTracker IV protocol. It's basically the same as the 996 without digital support. I may need to put that in the help.

Yeah or just change the drop-down menu to a list of scanners... might be less confusing.

Anyone one have it that when it records and they are done talking the record like on the idtracker screens flashes on and off? Then when I listen to the recording it saved there is no delay in between them talking, it is like continues talking, where when it works, there is about a 2 second pause between different people talking.
I had this happen before and cannot figure out what happened to make it to it and how to fix it.
I just changed over to a new PC and that is when it started happening. I had it happen before when I changed to a new PC but I was able to fix it. It is like the scanner stops talking to IDtracker when they are not talking on the radio. On the screen when the red recroding light gos one and off it going to tracking on the idtracker screen as well
Even if no one is talking, the hit counter keeps climbing and the record light comes on and off and keeps flashing till the scanner start to scan again.
So looks like a COm problem between the scanner and PC.

did some more testing and it is not IDtracker that is doing it. For some reason when I uploaded my Win500 file to the scanner, it did something with the freq I entered. I had to go into the scanner and through Win500 and enter my two control channels and then it worked. I have the latest version of Win500 so I have no idea what happened.

Could you please try the following so that I can troubleshoot the issue.
- Start ID Tracker II.
- Stop tracking.
- Press the F12 key to open the debug window.
- Click on Log then enable the "Log to File" option. The log file name and path will be listed in the debug display.
- Enable COM debugging under the Options menu item.
- Start tracking.
- Wait until the problem occurs and let it capture some data.
- Stop the tracking.
- Disable the "Log to File" option.
- Exit ID Tracker II.
- Email me the log file.

I did get your email. I did not realize that you were using a GRE scanner so it will take longer to look into. I have been busy lately so I have not had much time to play with scanners and the software.
