Default ARCXT rounding off frequencies ??

Trying to fine tune my P25 NYS Electric & Gas system & I'm finding that ARCXT is rounding off frequencies, ie: 152.8025 is rounded off to 152.8000. why is it doing this??

Thanks,
bob

You have the step size set wrong. It's changing the frequency to the closest one that meets your step size setting. I'm not familiar with the system you're trying to program, but I'd expect the RR database tells you the right step size to use.

Ok, but why would it round off a frequency if the scanner is capable of accepting the CORRECT frequency? If you were loading a conventional scanner, would you put in frequencies that were 12.5 or 25 Khz off if you could put in the correct ones?
