Can someone check my FreeScan file?

Hi Everyone,

I just got my Uniden BC246T today. I know, the BC346XT is better (from what I've read) but couldn't wait and a nearby electronics place had the 246 in stock. So far I flashed the software to version 2.60 with Close Call DND-Will update.

Here is my County page of frequencies.
Solano County, California (CA) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference

So far I'm getting all of the incoming radio from the VV-FF trunk. But nothing for the Conventional channels for nearby cities and CHP.

I'm using the antenna that came with the unit. Can anyone help?

During a conversation on scanner longer than say 2 seconds I hear the scanner volume cutting out. It's every two seconds if the persong talks. So at times I miss some info. Is this normal or someting that is set on the settings?

Nuuze, something else to look at here - I don't see any group key assignments for Fairfield cab, Suisuin police, fire, ems, Vallejo police, fire, ems or GG com center. Each of these need an assigned and active group key, just like you did with Solano sheriff. Keep in mind that group quick keys (GQKs) are unique to a system - so just because you have GQKs 1 and 2 for Solano trunk, that doesn't mean you couldn't assign those same numbered GQKs to another system.

Also most folks will tell you that setting a delay time of 2 will slow your scan down. There may well be times when you want to do this, but normally it's best to set this to zero.

Sounds to me like you have "PRIority" turned on. for most people it is an annoyance and we leave it off.

Thanks gmclam! It was the PRIority on Close Call settings. I just set it to CC - DND.
