ARC396 v.3.1.x - loss comunication

I recently upgrade my ARC396 PRO from 3.0.006 to 3.1. The software upgrade was done well. But I loss the communication between the software and my 396T, it does not recognize my scanner. I did not touch the comm settings, baud rate etc...I re-check again my comm settings on my laptop. Same problem.
Decided to roll back to v.3.0.006 and pouff, everything is ok, automatically.
Do you have comm problem with your v.3.1 ? How do you fix it?

Hey Tilley my friend ! Since Infoscan is down I couldn't advise our members not to proceed with 3.1 like I did, it is bugged !

Gommert (Butel's developer, owner or ... ?) is gone for vacation and released a few updates before leaving (ARC396 and ARC996) that seems to be bugged ...

Our common friend "ZPS" went back to 3.0.006 on both until the bugs are fix and everything is "business as usual" with the previous version.

AlabamaRS, have you made a succesfull connection with ARC396Pro V3.1.001 (not V3.0.006) to the BCD396T ?

As stated in my other post, COM ports is good, all of this has been tried, please see : ARC396 Pro won't download conventional freq alpha tags ?

The auto-detect function is not even working ,,,
