Freescan not letting me d/l conventional from RR
I'm not sure if this has been addressed on here, I tried looking for it but couldn't find it.
I can import trunked systems from RR using Freescan with no problem, but when I try to access conventional systems, it says "Subscription appears to be invalid or expired. Check your RR account and try again"
Anyone have any thoughts?

It might not be picking up the subscription expiry date on your account correctly. When does it expire? Could be a bug somewhere.

I think the problem is that you don't have an expiry date on your sub, so it figures its expired and thats why its kicking you off. Not a bug, just a feature designed to stop freeloaders, j/k. Well for the next version I will look into preventing this, in the mean time maybe you can get Lindsay to put an expiry date on?

I'll try, but just to reiterate, I can download Trunking systems just fine.

Lindsay's stance is that he's not going to recode the site to fix the problem (I don't blame him), so I guess we're back to square one.

... does that mean that anybody with an RR account (and not a premium account) can download Trunked radio information?

Ok well I get .9D out soon then. To answer your question H, you still need to be an RR subscriber, but that check is put there to give you a more useful error message if your account runs out then just a general error message.
Pjomm, is it just conventional you are having trouble with?

So what exactly happens when you try to download?

Hi cpuerror,
When I go in the menu, select import, radio reference conventional, then type type my username and password. After about 10 seconds this error appears:
"Subscription appears to be invalid or expired. Check your RR account and try again"
Hope this helps,
P
