WIN99 Software

Some time ago I purchased the WIN99 software and received the key. I have reinstalled the software on a new computer but the key does not work. I have e-mailed the author twice over the past few months but have not received a reply. I do not want to need to reinstall the software nor use the temporary key on the website. After all, I did pay for the product. Does anyone know why I would not get a response from the author to verify the product key?
