Default Any ideas

Am using win500 for now with my Pro197, works fine, but when I try & use PSRedit I get a com port error. I am just transferring frequencies etc from scanner to computer & vice versa or trying to. I just dled the latest version a few minutes ago

Unplug the USB cable and plug it back in.

even tried a reinstall of the drivesr Grrrr
tried that getting unable to open com1 make sure cable is plugged in.. port doesn't exist

Ok got to looking around & found the config to change comports & it working Thank you very much..
ps I should have known that it waas using comm4 & noting had changed hehe. I go in a hurry Sunday wehn I got the radio & toook me 2 hrs to realize I was trying to the port n the back & not the 1 on the front!!! [I I def need to slow it down lol

Probably something other than COM1. To check right click My Computer -> Manage then click on Device Manager and look under Ports. Good luck.
