Win96 Crash

If I up load to my 2096 using Win96 and have Free Scan ( which also use's NET ) open it will crash my computer and re-boot. I am using Microsoft net framework 3.5 SP1. Has anyone else have this happen?

Is it only when you attempt to upload to the scanner from Win96? If so, it shouldn't have anything to do with .NET (the .NET usage is limited to the RRLib DLL, which is only called when importing from RadioReference).

I'd suspect a COM port problem.

Correct it is only when I upload, guess that throws out a NET conflict as a suspect. Thanks for the speedy reply.
