Default Working RR software for bearcat 15

I'm looking for software to connect to Radio Reference for my bearcat 15, the butel arc 15 software doesn't work for me, they have tried to make it work but it doesn't since RR changed the format. Butel gave up on me so now I'm giving up on them. Anybody have any other suggestions for this scanner? I don't want to try another scanner as I have too much invested in the remote head and the scanner.

Thanks in advance.

Did you get the ARC15 upgrade for the RR SOAP interface, which is free? Or you can look at the article below...

Popular Software for RS/Uniden Scanners - The RadioReference Wiki

You could hardly go wrong with ProScan (commercial) or FreeScan (freeware). Both are quite well supported and there's lots of fellow users, both here and on their dedicated forums on their websites.

I got the update, it used to work before the format change, Butel even put a debug option in the software and I sent them the debug log files to get analyzed, but we were still unable to make it work and they said it was my system, which I know is not true. I've tried on 4 different computers with the same result here and in other locations.

I'm going to look at proscan, thanks.

Default Butel doing very poor job updating SW

I have Uniden SC230 using Butel SW. Many bugs in it, doesn't work with RR, and last word from Butel eas that there were other priorities....

Very, Very poor operation. Don't waste you time and money.

Well I kind of have to agree with you here as I purchased the 780 software from Butel, and then when I bought the 15 I purchased the pro software thinking it would be the best for me. I just downloaded the proscan demo and it worked right out of the box with rr and my 780 and my 15 so I will be purchasing the proscan software and renewing my RR subscription.
