Default Another Win96/Vista problem

I know there have been several Win96/Vista threads already but I haven't found one that addresses this specific issue:

I've just downloaded WIn96 and I have Vista. When I attempt to open the program, I get this message:

Cannot find import; DLL may be missing, corrupt or wrong version File "WinXXCommon.dll, error 126

Any thoughts?
Thanks

DonS addresses this on his WIN96 Download Site. You need to get the .Net 1.1 file and place it in your WIN96 folder.

you don't need to drag anything, just install. the ,net, it'is a windows System file let it install in the default folder wherever it wants to

WinxxCommon.dll should be in the Win96 zip. Do a search for the dll then place it in same folder with Win96.exe. You should also have a RRLib.dll in the zip as well as a Win96Hlp.chm. All four need to be in the same folder.

Ok nevermind I figured it out...In case anyone else runs into this error, search your computer for that file...I had one from back in 2007 when I had a trial version of Win96 (I'm assuming) and I dragged that into my Win96 folder and it now works fine.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to help me.
