Default Win500 for Pro-106. Instructions?

A woman at my work bought a Pro-106 from the local 'shack and wants me to program it for her. I did some by keypad entry but it is very time consuming and it was just a stroke of luck that I actually got it to work.

I am using the trial version of Win500 but I'll be honest, I have no clue how to use it. In TSYS objects/TGRP, under "Group or Radio ID" is this wanting talk group hex or something else. The 'shack programmed the scanner using Scancat and I was able to import the file (which is pitiful) but in Group/Radio ID there are long numbers such as 16719168 which I know isn't a talk-group ID. Also, how do I keep conventional channels out of the same bank as TSYS banks?

Ok, I'm not a prem. subscriber and that appears to relate only to importation from RR to the Win500 program.

Basically, I don't understand where to enter talk groups. I feel a bit silly, but I'm just not getting this software.

Ok, according to the Utah write-up, I entered the TGs in DEC mode, in the list. I left one a wildcard. All are in bank 1. Nothing is coming from the scanner. I'm listening to tons of traffic on my XTS5000 right now but the scanner is quiet. It's not flashing the trunking indicator either. There is a control channel and an alternate in the frequency bank. I have it set on MOT 800/900 but I've also tried P25 manual and P25 standard. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here. It seems to me that it should work?

**Crap never mind. I left the control channel box empty on this template.

In order to understand the software, you need to understand the radio. Try here: Easier to Read Pro-106/197/PSR500/600 Digital Scanner Manual
and/or here: PRO-106 39,000-Channel Digital Handheld Scanner - RadioShack.com

I'm getting this down-pat now. I see that it keeps changing my banks when I try to sift conventional and trunking out, it defaults to the first bank. One of the issues I was having. I'm starting to get the hang of this now.
