ARC536PRO Virtual problem

I've been using the Virtual Control, using the serial port null modem cable, with no problems. Now the program is asking for the com port setting each time Virtual Control is started. Previously you only had to set the port once. Also, each time Virtual is started the format of the grid has to be redone. Any ideas on what's gone wrong and how to fix it?

Something is preventing ARC536PRO to write settings to the windows registry. Try re-installing the software first and also do a complete reboot of the PC after re-installing.

Thanks for the quick reply. Access to Shared DLLs was denied. Uninstall with JV Power Tools and reinstall
fixed the problem.
