Exclamation FreeSCAN Doesn't Save Comments?

When I create a set of systems on FreeSCAN for my BCD396XT, upload it to the scanner, then download it, the comments on Talk groups are no longer there. How do I keep the comments? Is it possible?

The comments should be saved when you save the file to the computer. I don't think the scanners have the ability to save the comments.

I use the Comments section for notes I want to add for frequencies that interest me.

Some frequencies may be on a "search mode" and I'll hear different areas depending on the PL tone my scanner lands on. When that happens, I'll make a note in the comment area to help me remember later.

Nope. They're only there for that profile (.996 file). They can't be sent to the scanner because there's nowhere to hold them. If you create a new profile, that means new comments
