Anyone have a work around for getting BuTel ARC XT to work with a Win8 tablet? I have the PL2303HXA chipset.

OK, so 1.5.0 works, but wow is this slow.
I suspect it's the HXA chipset, which doesn't get along with Windows 8.x.
You could get either a serial to USB adapter http://www.amazon.com/Plugable-Adapter-Prolific-PL2303HX-Chipset/dp/B00425S1H8, or a newer model USB-1 cable. Both of these use the HXD chipset, which does get along with Windows 8.x.

It is the HXA chipset. For now it is working, but is not consistent. I may need to just get a new cable with the HXD chipset
