I am trying to program my BC346XTC scanner using Freescan software. I am using Windows 8 and it does not have the clipboard that is required by Freescan. Is there a way around using clipboard and using some other software program?

Windows 8 doesn't have clipboard????!!!!
Big problem. Can you highlight a bunch of info in a couple columns and copy? Or is this what you are saying can't be done in win8?

Since you are a paid subsciber, you could down load whatever frequencies you want into Free scan, avoiding any copy/paste. Just select File Import RR conventional, log in, and select your county. Then, just select frequencies you want to download. This is all explained in FreeScan User Guide - The RadioReference Wiki

I am trying to program my scanner using my computer and freescan program. I can locate the frequencies on RR and can copy them, but am unable to paste them in the freescan box.

Thats because you need to use EZGrab, not cut and paste.
