win 500 client help

hello i will try again i have downloaded the free version of win 500 client dl can someone tell me what the proper server address and the server port would be. every time i tried to click the start button it shows check the address and port, here are the settings that are in when i try to click start server address local host and for server port8086, these do not seem to be the right settings does anyone know what the proper setting should be, im using windows vista and this is for the gre-500 scanner, thank you if anyone can help me also using the gre cable p/n 30-3290

Do you have the server side set up?
The client will not connect to the radio, you need Win500 running in server mode to use the client.
The address will be the IPV4 address of the computer running the server, the port is whatever port you set in the server.
