OK so I have been playing around with programming using ARC XT and Pro Scan. I noticed that if you assign quick keys to Systems and Groups and later change them without assigning something else to that key the # shows up on the scanner instead of the usual _ but you can't do anything with it. My question is what can be done to be rid of these "ghost Keys" without doing a factory reset on the scanner?
I tried getting rid a all key assignments but that just leaves more Ghost Keys. I tried in Pro Scan to select Not Assigned but they were still showing up but not as numbers they appears as * like they were just turned off. And again you can't do anything with them.
The solution I used was to manually delete all systems in the scanner and reload the data. Selecting to delete all information in the scanner with ARC XT evidently doesn't delete the same way.
