Some questions for Arc500.
Question 1- How do I put Alpha Tags in ABC Order? I d/l frequencies from the RR Database. They were put in exact order as they were listed on RR. (6 divisions of FD's, each division itself is in ABC order). When I double click the header "Alpha Tag" it just reverses the order of the whole column, not each row. Does that make sense?
Here's an example:
List is originally like this:
1-alpha
2-beta
3-charlie
4-delta
5-apple
6-bear
7-cat
8-dog
when I double click the Alpha Tag header it does this:
8-dog
7-cat
6-bear
5-apple
4-delta
3-charlie
2-beta
1-alpha
I want it to be in actual ABC order:
1-alpha
5-apple
6-bear
2-beta
7-cat
3-charlie
4-delta
8-dog
Question 2-
How do I quickly and manually lockout or open channels/objects while scanning? On the pro164 while scanning trunked, I could just hit Manual, Function, Trunk, and scroll up or down to find the TGID I want to lock or unlock. I can't see a way to do this on the 651 since there's no "Trunk" button. This was useful for unlocking channels for something that was going on in another precinct that I don't normally listen to.
Question 3-
What does the "VC" stand for next to the trunk frequency? Does that have to do w/ the Control channel?
That's all I have right now, I"m sure I'll think of more later. Thank you so much!
