Arc 500 and rs 197

Helping a friend out programming with ARC 500 on RS 197. I havbe created two systems with specific talk groups. How do I restrict the radio to display ONLY these two groups. I mam familiar with a 396xt, where you can scan in search mode of in id mode. I am wanting to be in id mode only.

I am looking for this setting in ARC 500 software.

I believe what you want to do is make sure there are no wildcard entries on the TG Id listings screen. Arc500 will automatically create them if the box is checked under GLOBAL SETTINGS > SOFTWARE. As you can see I have several wildcards for my trunk systems...
You can highlight the line and delete it if you have any, there should be only 2, one for each system.

I figured it out, in trunk system parameters, you select either scan or search. Just unfamiliar with the software. Wrong Butel software, you are right in arc500. That takes care of the problem.
