HomePatrol 1 database update

Hi there,

Somewhat new to all the features of the Homepatrol 1.
I use the radio exclusively in my vehicle, with the GPS add-on.

My question is, How or where (website, etc) do I go to update the database?
I'm sure there have been many updates recently, and would like to keep up to date.

Through the Sentinel software you (should) have downloaded on your PC. Its located under the "update" tab on the top of the screen....same tab is used for frimware updates.

Database and firmware updates are done through the Sentinel software. Complete instructions for both are detailed on page 6 of your owners manual.

The database is updated every week.

FYI...no database updates this week. At least that's what they are saying on the Uniden HP community forum. I noticed when I tried to update this past Monday, Sentinel did not update and instead stated I had the most updated database already......

FYI....I checked today and updates downloaded for the master database in Sentinel.
