FreeScan not saving

So I make a change to a group, click the save button, select upload to scanner, and it doesn't' have the system the group is in selected as changed. I have to exit out of FreeScan at which point it asks if I want to save changes, I select yes, then restart FreeScan and then upload, and it has the changed system selected to upload.

It doesn't seem to be saving when I click the save button Any ideas?

I have always used save as.
Each time I make a variety of changes, I do a save as, then add the date to the name so I am noting the date of the save. The previous files are just backups.

It always seems to work.

I never go by the program picking what I should update to the radio. Messes up the memory sequence in the radio with a lot of appends.

I always select all systems, and take the erase all systems on radio option. It writes a clean sequential file to the radio in the order of the database, so the order on the radio is the same as Freescan.
