ARC536: software can't detect scanner

I don't know what happened since I last added frequencies, but now the program can't detect the scanner when I want to read or write to the BC536.

What was wrong because I just purchased ARC 536 and it can't detect the 536HP in Mass Storage mode. Tried 2 different USB cables.

Well, on one computer it runs fine. On this one it worked OK when I did the EVAL for a lil while then quit. At the time I thought the EVAL period was up so I didn't worry about it. Then I purchased ARC536Basic and it couldn't find the scanner but Sentinel could.

Talked to Grommert about the problem and the way I got mine to work on this WIN 7 64 Bit computer was to run it as Administrator. Note: the other Win 7 64 Bit computer runs it fine without running it that way. Give it a shot and let us know...

There we go! I'm on Win10, and running as administrator fixed it. Thanks.
