Hello All,

I'm beginning to think that my Vista laptop, circa 2007 is at fault. Just before loading the data to the scanner, I'll receive an error that says, "incompatible scanner". Next try, another error will say, "unable to connect to the scanner." On the third try the connection is made!

Below are the errors that come up once I finally do get the data loaded to the scanner.

Has anyone else gotten so many errors? On one attempt, I got 46. Error indicates "...scanner out of memory". In reality it's only 2% full.

What can I do to correct all of these errors; They give no indication on how to rectify them.

Many thanks! Alain

It's a big system, and the error is for out of memory for the system, not the scanner.

There is a maximum number of frequencies, talkgroups per system. Probably 500.
You are over that and every talkgroup after the max is an out of memory error.

You need to create the system a few times with the same frequencies and then spread the talkgroups across those multiple copies of the system.
